First Aid at Work Requalification
This 2-day training course is only available to those with a valid First Aid at Work certificate. To remain qualified delegates should complete this requalification course before their current certificate expires. As part of our customer care programme we will contact you when this is due to ensure that you remain compliant.
Did you know? We also offer this course as a 'Blended' course, which consists of 1 day of e-learning, and 1 day in the classroom for practical work and assessment.
Who is it for?
Delegates who have completed the First Aid at Work 3 day course and need to requalify before their certificate expires.
What will you learn?
- Bleeding (minor and severe)
- Casualty movement
- Choking (adult)
- CPR (adult) including the use of an AED
- Primary Survey
- Seizures (adult)
- Treating an unresponsive casualty
- Allergic reaction
- Bone, muscle and joint injuries
- Chest pains (including heart attack)
- Eye injuries, head injuries, spinal injuries
- Low blood sugar
- Sprains and strains
How is it assessed?
Delegates are continually assessed by our highly experienced St John Ambulance Cymru trainers in line with curren HSE guidelines, in addition to an assessment paper.
Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will receive a St John Ambulance Cymru certificate, valid for 3 years.
