Catastrophic Bleeding & Tourniquets
Tourniquets are tight bands used on limbs or extremities to control excessive bleeding when bleeding cannot be controlled by direct pressure.
A properly applied tourniquet can safely limit blood loss and save a life whilst awaiting the emergency services.
We can also offer this course as a bolt on to our First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work courses.
