Emergency Paediatric First Aid
This 1-day course focuses on the most common childhood illnesses and injuries that may face those looking after babies and young children.
Who it is for?
Anyone who works with or cares for infants and young children.
It is advised that at least one person in a childcare setting holds the full 2 day Paediatric First Aid certificate.

- Recording & Reporting of incidents
- Child / infant resuscitation
- Role and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider

- Unresponsive casualty
How is it assessed?
Delegates are continually assessed by our highly experienced St John Ambulance Cymru trainers in line with current HSE guidelines.
Certification
Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will receive a St John Ambulance Cymru certificate, valid for 3 years.
