Public Access Defib Awareness

The prospect of using an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator)  might be daunting, but with the increasing availability of public access AEDs it is vital that the general public have access to awareness training.

This short awareness session will take you through how to access and use a public access AED and will  teach you how to administer CPR.

Who it is for:

The course is suitable for anyone over the age of 7.
No previous first aid experience required.

This course however is not suitable for those responsible for using a defib in the workplace - for workplace training we would recommend the full
AED training course.

What you will learn:

  • Primary Survey
  • Chest Pains
  • Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Introduction to the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Certification:

All delegates will receive an e-certificate of attendance from St John Wales.
